BLOOM is a portable, sustainably 3D printed LED lantern designed to accompany you in home-life and adventure; bringing the cheer of coral and light wherever life may take you. Truly a one-of-a-kind treasure each Bloom cell is individually formed using our CORALESCENCE growth algorithm – you can find each Bloom’s unique growth code printed into the base of its inner cell.
Each BLOOM comes battery charging station for three rechargeable AAA batteries and remote to operate the integrated LED light array. From the ever-reliable elegance of warm white through to an enchanting mirage of transitionary colours.
A push button in the cork base allows for easy on/off control without the remote – this button cycles through the base colours, starting with warm white through to red, blue and green then off.

At Tide Pool we are passionate about doing all we can to benefit our beloved environment, starting with a holistic approach to sustainable practice across design and fabrication. All our Treasures are crafted from recycled, recyclable and/or bio-degradable materials where possible; coupled with the minimal waste of precision 3D-printing technology. Our studio is fuelled by renewable energy and houses a dedicated multi-tier manufacture waste recycling system with a focus on internal re-use.

With a deep appreciation for the wellbeing benefits of nature-immersion and countless memories of joyful experiences we are extremely passionate about playing an active role in conserving our nature-found muses.

3D Printed Polymers
Our 3D printed Treasures are designed in form and material to be strong and durable, however, just like any shell you’ve found washed up on the beach the print’s deposition layers can crack and separate under excessive pressure, such as being knocked against a hard surface. Please look after your Treasure as you would look after any cherished item.
As per many materials the colour and form of 3D printed polymers may change over time when exposed to environmental conditions such as UV rays. Whilst we do not consider this subtle adaption over time to be a flaw – more so an appropriately natural ‘ageing’ reaction formed over time that enhances the individuality of each Treasure – to best maintain your 3D printed Treasure’s original condition limit exposure to UV rays by keeping out of direct sunlight and store in the provided protective bag or container when not in use or on display.
Lights
Keep your illuminated Treasure in pristine condition by gently wiping with a soft cloth and/or brush. In case of mishap gently scrub the affected area with a soft brush dipped in a solution of warm water and hand soap, taking care to avoid moisture reaching electrical components; wipe clean with a soft cloth to remove all residue and ensure the Treasure is fully dry before turning on the light. Avoid any exposure of electrical components to water or other liquids.
