Technical Specification

DAKOTA LED LIGHT KIT

The Dakota LED Light kit features a 15w 3000K dimmable LED light with PC shade. It replaces the bottom base plate of the Dakota, and sits flush to the fan, adding no extra height between the ceiling and the bottom of the fan.

There is only one light kit to suit all three colour options of the Dakota ceiling fan (Matt White, Brushed Chrome or Matt Black). There is no attachable rim to the PC shade.

Downrod

This downrod comes with pre-drilled holes for easy installation. Whilst the length of this downrod comes standard, it can also be cut to size by your builder or electrician to your required length. Once cut, a new hole must then be drilled into the cut end of the downrod, to allow the pin joint to attach to the ball joint in the roof canopy. Non-threaded means that there is no spiral ridge inside the downrod for installation – it is purely intended for pin joint installation.

45° CEILING ADAPTOR KIT BRUSHED CHROME

This 45° Ceiling Adaptor Kit is the ideal accessory for high ceiling applications, and is suitable for use on sloped ceilings of up to 45°.

Most ceiling fans on the market today can be installed on a sloped ceiling of up to 22°, with the exception of hugger ceiling fans such as the Sierra. For installation on a sloped ceiling greater than 22°, you will require the use of a 45° Ceiling Adaptor Kit. The wide diameter of the canopy will still allow for a remote receiver to be installed, meaning your chosen ceiling fan can still be controlled via a remote control (optional accessory at additional charge). If your ceiling fan is to be installed on a sloped ceiling, you may also require an extension Downrod to lower the blades of the ceiling fan away from the ceiling.
